My little family is in a somewhat unique situation. You see, I have been our primary source of income for just over a year and a half. This means I make the money that pays our bills and supports our life, and my husband cares for the kids, goes to school, and works a job that provides us with insurance. This also means my business has to be successful.

This wasn’t exactly what we had planned. But, in the winter of 2019, right around Christmas, my husband very unexpectedly lost his job. At the time, it was scary, overwhelming, and felt like our life was falling apart.

For years, his job had been our source of financial stability. It allowed me to work part-time, become a consultant, and begin my own business. Most importantly to us, it allowed me to have my babies and then be home with them without worrying about insurance or stressing about how much I was making.

But, when he lost his job, everything changed.

We had just built our dream home. We had two cars. We had all the bills… and we had two littles who needed safety and security.

We worried about finances, insurance, childcare, and pretty much everything.⠀

Slowly… we adjusted.⠀

We chose to make the most of the situation. I began working more, and my husband started caring for the kids more. In a matter of weeks, we created a new normal for our day-to-day life.⠀

My priority quickly shifted from building my business slowly while caring for my babies to needing to maximize every moment I had to impact my business’s growth.

My business HAD to be a success.

Truthfully, it hasn’t been easy. It’s taken a lot of work.

But, my business has grown.

My income has grown.

I am financially supporting my family… doing exactly what I love to do.

And, my business and life are THRIVING.

I’ve worked 4-day weeks since June of 2021, so I could spend quality time with my little ones over the summer. I took a week off for a family vacation to the beach. I work with some of the most amazing soulmate clients AND have invested in support from some of the most amazing soulmate coaches and mentors. I even have a small team who helps with projects and some of the work that I find draining, giving me more time doing what I love most with the people I love most.

So what allowed me to step into this? What allowed me to uplevel my business to support my family and my life?

  • I got crystal clear on what I wanted and needed and began taking conscious aligned action to make it a reality.
  • I did the work (and will continue doing it) to overcome and heal the things holding me back and keeping me small.
  • I created boundaries that supported me instead of draining me.
  • I restructured my packages, services, and pricing to create sustainability in my business.
  • I learned more, embraced my growth, and asked for help where and when I needed it.
  • I connected to my own energy and began to follow it.
  • And so much more.

The road to success is different for each of us, but it requires work to step into your power and bring that success to life.

My success is a business that I love and provides financial security and freedom for my family. It’s a life that I can enjoy because my business gives me the space and time to enjoy it.

I’m living my success and fully intend to continue rising to new levels of it.
